Belmont Plantation
The Belmont Plantation marker is under a large magnolia tree on Highway 1 at Wayside. Plantation is on east side of highway. Belmont is one of the few antebellum mansions in the Mississippi Delta to escape burning by Union Forces during the Civil War.
